About M.P.Sugitha

Achievements made at a young age

In the year 2019, at the age of 10, I was amazed to see the traditional Tamil game of a Silambam event attended by my father. I have overcome fatigue many times to reach the physical qualification to spin silambam. - Traveling as a school student at the same time as a sports person was an extra burden but the support given by my family and school members was immense. Although I have received various compliments and prizes among my classmates,I have sometimes missed the happy moments with my friends. I am so far a district ,state, national and an international achiever in silambam game.

My Silambam instructor, Dr.Anbalahan Kuppusamy, Grand Master, 6th Dan, Silambam Korvai, Malaysia and Trichy M.Jayakumar who has been teaching Silambam for free for more than 40 years. M. Jayakumar who has been teaching Silambam for free for more than 40 years, has been instrumental in achieving these both nationally and internationally and has given me his greatest contribution in trainingand assisting me persistently to attain this stage.
